How do I get to a classroom on the 2nd (second) floor?

The PL second floor and basement classrooms have special classroom-only entrances (see photo below) for security reasons. Do not enter the Pfau Library (where the Starbucks and all those books are)!
Second floor classrooms include PL-211, 214, 217, 224, 245, 256, 263, 266, 269, 277, 283, 287, 293, or any 3-digit PL room number that begins with 2. For more detail with additional photos, see the Second Floor page of our guide Finding Your Way Around the Pfau Library Building.

There is only one classroom inside the Pfau Library itself--PL-2005, our library instruction computer classroom, and here's how you get there.
TEXT ONLY DIRECTIONS
If you are facing the front entrance of the PL building (you would be looking north):
- There is a staircase to the left of the Pfau Library-only entrance that goes to both the second floor and the basement.
- On the right-hand side of the PL building, past the Starbucks, the first classroom-only entrance has a staircase that only goes to the second floor.
- Go even farther down the right-hand side of the PL building and you will find a second classroom-only entrance with a staircase and an elevator both of which will go to the second floor and the basement.
