I requested something through Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) but I never heard back. What gives?

You should automatically get an email notification once your requested item has arrived (normally within 7-10 days). If you didn't, some common causes:

  1. Your email address isn't right. Login into ILLiad, then scroll down to the bottom and click  "Change User Information." Make sure your address is current and has no typos.
  2. The notice got caught in your SPAM filter. Double-check your junk or spam folders, and safelist the ILLiad email address if necessary.
  3. Your request was never actually submitted. Unless you have clicked "submit" on an article or book request form, you haven't sent us your request!

You can check the status of your Interlibrary Loan requests anytime by logging into ILLiad and using the options under the section labeled View, such "Outstanding Requests" or "Cancelled Requests."
