Online fine payments are not yet fully integrated into the new OneSearch system. Currently, STUDENTS ONLY can pay library fines online through MyCoyote.

First, check My Library Account for your total library fines owed.

  1. Login to MyCoyote

  2. Click on the Student tab.

  3. Click Make a Payment, then Next

  4. Click the Make Payment tab.

  5. Click the link for Library overdue fees (or Library lost books, if appropriate). It will be at the bottom of the list of payment options, so scroll down to find it.

  6. On the fees payment page, enter the amount of fees that you owe.

  7. Click through the rest of the payment process, as you do for other university payments.

When the balance is paid in full, “Holds” on University Records will normally be cleared within 2 business days.

A note about prior fines: In the migration to the new OneSearch system, any library fines or fees that you might have had in our old system came over as a lump sum. So those old fee amounts are not itemized. If you would like to know what they are for, please contact us, and we we can retrieve the itemized list from our old system.

The CashNet payment system accepts Visa, Mastercard, Diner’s, Discover, Amex, and eCheck,

If you cannot use CashNet, you may pay fines:

  • In person at the Check-Out Desk with cash or check only.
  • By mail (make check payable to CSUSB Library). Send payment to:
    CSUSB Library
    5500 University Parkway
    San Bernardino, CA 92407-2397
    Attn: Circulation Dept.
